Leadership must engage the concept of being led by the Spirit. Without which, there is no hitting the target and subsequently can be no proper leading. The concept of leadership is not one God originally intended for mankind. It becomes difficult to find demonstration of godly leadership communicated by his word because all were made in his image to submit to and be in intimate relation with him. Several New Testament passages support the idea that we do not teach teachers in the sense that we would need man to lead us. This is most properly done through the divine teaching of God, exemplified in the life of Christ, and communicated to us by his Spirit. For we can do nothing apart from Christ and are powerless without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to combat the indulgence of the flesh, which are sin.
